When scores of leftist Israeli academics, prominent writers and intellectuals said that they would not lecture at the Ariel University Center or in any other settlement, many here said that nobody had asked them to come.
But the protest broadened again this week when an American advocacy group, Jewish Voice for Peace, said that more than 150 international film and theater professionals, including Julianne Moore, Theodore Bikel, Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Kushner, had endorsed its statement in support of Israeli artists against performing in the settlements, which are viewed by much of the world as a violation of international law.

Your "moron in chief" ran up more than that with 2 wars and cutting taxes at the same time.
Not to mention, but I will, his bail out of his buddies on wall street who destroyed the economy.
And of course the destruction of the middle class from 30 years of REAGANISM.
No wonder you drink, the stress of denial must be overwhelming.
your plastic jesus has put 3 fucking TRILLION on the credit in 20 months. STFU

The part of the speech I would recommend that the president make at every opportunity is "The America I believe in" where President Obama drew upon his grandfather's military service plus his own education and work experience to celebrate the values that built America:
"Yes, our families believed in the American values of self-reliance and individual responsibility, and they instilled those values in their children. But they also believed in a country that rewards responsibility. A country that rewards hard work. A country built upon the promise of opportunity and upward mobility. They believed in an America that gave my grandfather the chance to go to college because of the GI bill. An America that gave my grandparents the chance to buy a home because of the Federal Housing Authority. An America that gave their children and grandchildren the chance to fulfill our dreams thanks to college loans and college scholarships.
"It was an America where you didn’t buy things you couldn’t afford; where we didn’t just think about today – we thought about tomorrow. An America that took pride in the goods it made, not just in the things it consumed. An America where a rising tide really did lift all boats, from the company CEO to the guy on the assembly line. That’s the America I believe in. That’s what led me to work in the shadow of a shuttered steel plant on the South Side of Chicago when I was a community organizer. It’s what led me to fight for factory workers at manufacturing plants that were closing across Illinois when I was a Senator. It’s what led me to run for President – because I don’t believe we can have a strong and growing economy without a strong and growing middle-class."

I expect the "mea culpas" to be forthcoming.I don't know PNC, seems like they've stumbled on a way to improve the job outlook. I hear tell in addition the brighter then expected claims hard data we've also saved 350 million and two jobs since Tuesday noon.
And then Fidel may come to Barry's rescue since he has graciously abandoned his humming economic model to let BO take it, but only in case this European socialist model (that successful European countries are abandoning left and left) some how or another doesn't work (maybe the 256th time IS the charm, who knows? Ya gotta try).
So it looks like a win-win for BO and the Dems, improving unemployment numbers (big dart board in the BLS main conference room) and the Cuban economic model to fall back on.
*Hope*

As for the Senate, some have predicted that the Republicans would regain control of the Senate in November as well.
In fact, Rasmussen's polling now shows the Republicans picking up a total of 11 Senate seats (though some are within the margin of error), thus returning the Senate to the GOP.
For my part, my models are still predicting only about a 6-seat pickup for the Republicans (though with a large margin of error), so I'll stick with my prediction that the Democrats will retain control of the Senate...for now.
As for the gubernatorial elections, my predictions, also disregarded months ago, seem to be spot on, in total agreement with RealClearPolitics' averages.
You heard it here first.

Months ago, I predicted that the Republicans would regain control of the House of Representatives, based on my mathematical models of Obama's approval rating decline and the proportionality of midterm election outcomes to the President's approval rating.
Of course, the usual suspects, the hyper-partisan, math-phobic neanderthals, ridiculed the very suggestion.
But now, what I predicted months ago has become the conventional wisdom. Indeed, even those who laughed off my prediction over the past few months are coming to acknowledge its correctness.

k'putz said the FBI 'pressured" the poor ignorant sob preacher. He's a liar.
Now Halfwit why do you suppose the FBI got involved over what is essentially a potential violation of the local zoning ordinance against trash burning?
Is this a new interpretation of the interstate commerce clause?
BTW you can get around the law by having a package of hot dogs or a bag of marshmallows handy. Then the trash burning becomes a barbecue.
